My story

 
 

At the start of 2017 I found myself living the perfect looking life. I was married with 3 energetic young boys. I had a good profession, a house, 2 cars, we were just moving to Europe from Israel to live our dream life, etc. But that is when I found myself at my lowest point physically and mentally. I looked and felt having the life sucked out of me. Physically I hated my body’s changes. My post pregnancy’s mummy tummy was sticking out, my boobs depleted. My booty and legs were in one line. In addition I felt depressed, exhausted of life, the every day routine, taking care of everybody but myself. I was extremely unhappy. On top of that, my family and I just relocated to the Netherlands. As a result I was an emotional wreck, binge eating constantly, and trying to keep my family from falling apart during the settling in time.

At that time I stumbled upon the BBG guide (the bikini body guide). Armed with the fantasy of getting in better shape. I started working out at home, as well as creating and experimenting with healthier recipes. That marked the start of my journey. A few months in I fell of the wagon with the program and decided to give weight training a go. First at home and later on heavy weights at the gym. Amazingly my body started changing as never before. Lifting (as opposed to what I thought) toned me up and made me feel confident, capable, energized, and strong like a BADASS woman.

While initially I started to workout on a quest to lose weight and for aesthetic reasons. I found fitness to have a much greater impact on my life. It lifted my mood and energy levels, as well as it has made me feel stronger, more capable and empowered. It has become my passion and my time of self-care.

I learned how important it is to take the time for yourself as well, besides worrying about everyone else. This little investment in you, also gives back to everyone else, because once you are happy, it projects to them.

I learned that fueling your body right, is extremely important as well. Today I make better food choices, loads of easy home-cooked healthy meals to myself and family, calculate macros, and have a balanced approach to food, meaning there is nothing of limits.

Through my journey I learned the truth about many myths, I believed in, that where holding me back in the past. I also realized I wanted to share my knowledge and journey to motivate as many women as possible to live better, healthier and balanced. To have a healthy, happy, confident, balanced and empowered lifestyle. Change is possible at any time (I started at 38). Today I share my knowledge by simplifying it to you and making it easy and doable.

my why

I know it can be extremely overwhelming to try and change old habits and incorporate new better ones. I know it because I have been there, and I still try to do better every day. How can you focus on bettering yourself with everything there is to deal with? Kids, marriage, work, household, etc… how can you fit the desire to better your body, your lifestyle, your eats into the daily chaos?

That is why I created this place where I can share with you simple ways to make life easier, better and healthier. Ways that are going to stick and last a lifetime and give you long term results. Ways that will change your lifestyle. Here I am sharing all the tips, hacks, routines, eats, recipes I follow myself and believe in.  So you can choose from and find the ways that fit YOU to live YOUR best balanced lifestyle.
